Scholarship and Grant Information
Scholarships offered by the ASWA Bellevue Chapter
The Bellevue chapter of ASWA awards two scholarships annually to help students advance their accounting education. Funding for these scholarships comes from donations by ASWA Members and guests at our annual Dessert Auction, which was held Tuesday, November 13, 2012.
Our annual Student Night event was held on Tuesday, February 19, 2013 at the Coast Hotel in Bellevue where our scholarship award recipients were recognized for achievements.
The Bellevue Chapter is proud to present the two following scholarship awards
to:
Siyu Lu
-$1,500 Cash award for the four year college degree
Jenny Foster-$1,000 Cash award for the two year degree at a community college
Congratulations to both of them for their hard work.
Scholarship Application Eligibility:
• Full or part-time students in the Puget Sound Region attending colleges, universities, vocational or technical schools and pursuing a degree in accounting or persons actively pursuing their CPA or CMA designations
• Applicants must have taken basic courses in accounting to show aptitude and intention in pursuing an accounting career
• Scholarships will be awarded without regard to race, national origin, sex, age, disabilities, religion, sexual preference or marital status.
