Hello Bellevue Chapter,
I hope you are all having a fantastic summer! Welcome to our 2010-2011 year.
I'm honored and grateful to be the chapter's new President. I appreciate each one of you with your support.

AUGUST SPEAKER: Robin Block of Blockbeta
"Making Sense of Social Media for Small Business and Job Seekers Understanding what social media is and choosing the right sites to participate in is the first step. Robbin will address how to make the most of the sites you've chosen. You'll leave with tips and tools you can start using today to improve your results. Robbin has over 25 years of traditional and online marketing experience. She has taught at the university level, and has consulted and worked for companies of all sizes including major corporations, such as AT&T Wireless. Robbin enjoys integrating classical marketing principles with technology. Robbin has an MBA from Boston University and a BA in Economics from the State University of New York at Albany. She has been a SCORE volunteer counselor and instructor since 2003, advising small businesses on matters of marketing and the Internet. Robbin also volunteers at KBCS 91.3FM on the One World Report public affairs program as a writer, copy editor and voiceJULY PLANNING EVENT
We did not have a July CPE hour. But many members came out in July to offer speaker topics for the upcoming year. So your voice really does count. Watch for our speaker line up on our events page. Stay tuned as we will have a membership drive in September...more to come from our President.ANNOUNCEMENTS
Stock up on those non-perishables. We will be promoting a NW Harvest Food Drive October 10 and again November 10. Then on January 11th, we will be promoting a Homeless Drive. More information to come...
