September Speaker Highlights

Marcia Christ of Marcia Marcia Marcia, a one-on-one computer training consultant gave a presentation on how to use certain features in Microsoft Outlook.  She covered basic to some advance features, such as how to create a contact list, categorizing contacts, distribution lists, adding attachments, calendar views, adding notes and reoccurring tasks.  Most of us have used Microsoft Outlook at different levels for work and many of us went home learning a new technique that evening.  Marcia was very patient as we all bombarded her with “how do you do…..in Outlook” and was able to get through everyone’s questions.  There are so many features available in Outlook, we barely scratched the surface.

Bio for Marcia Christ                                                                 September 23, 2007

I was born and raised in the Northwest and reside in Mill Creek with my husband. I am a mother of three grown daughters, and grandmother of three girls, the youngest one is only three weeks old!

Most of my working career has been in dentistry and most of that time has been spent working in orthodontics.

My computer training experience began in 2001. I was hired by a dental software company and began traveling to dental offices training on a dental software program.  This experience gave me the desire and prepared me to begin my own training company, Marcia Marcia Marcia One-on-One Computer Training.

I feel like many people get lost in classroom situations or the training is not relevant. I personalize each training. Because everyone is at a different level in their computer experience, one person’s needs may be very different from another person. A training can range from the bare bone basics or more advanced training.

Microsoft Outlook is a powerful program that can be used to help simply your life. It helps users better manage their time and information. In this 30 minute presentation I will help highlight the basics and demonstrate ways to utilize Outlook.
